Korenix extends its series of High Power PoE switches, by releasing the JetNet 6710G series Gigabit Managed 802.3at Compliant PoE switches, designed with 8 high power PoE ports with RJ45 and M12 connectors, for providing reliable video stream transmission with vibration and shock resistance in critical PoE surveillance applications.

The PoE ports allow users to power up the high-end IP cameras, WiMax systems and Wireless APs with 30W power per port and 200W per unit. The 2 Gigabit ports provide high speed uplink connectivity to higher level backbone switches with Korenix MSR network redundancy technology, which can recover any failure in less than 5milliseconds. Designed with advanced Layer2 management functionalities and auto-topology visualization management software, as well as -40~60℃ wide operating temperature, the EN50155 railway compliant switches provide outstanding system efficiency and reliable connectivity in railway infrastructures, rolling stock applications, etc.
Global Exclusive 30W High Power PoE for High-End PoE Applications
JetNet 6710G series are capable of delivering 15.4W per port by IEEE 802.3af and 30W by high power IEEE 802.3at PoE standard via its 8 PoE ports. The total power budget can be achieved up to 200W per unit, to drive the motors of outdoor PTZ IP cameras, or WiMAX and 802.11a/b/g/n wireless systems for internet access in trains, subways, airports etc. The switches also provide Smart Power Budget Limitation with priority control to ensure reliable power delivery by protecting high priority PD devices from shut down. The 2 uplink gigabit ports further ensure the high bandwidth video stream transmission in the surveillance network.

The 8 PoE ports of the JetNet 6710G series support rugged RJ45 (JetNet 6710G-RJ) and M12 D-coded (JetNet 6710G-M12) connectors to provide robust protection eliminating link loss and data failure from constant vibration and shock in outdoor networking applications, intelligent industrial automations, mobile deployments, etc.
Reliable Network Connectivity and Advanced Network Management
JetNet 6710G series supports Korenix patented MSR redundant ring with less than 5ms failure recovery time, which ensures high quality video transmission in a reliable, scalable network. With its high-port density design featuring MultiRing technology, it fits the flexible bandwidth applications allowing direct connection and aggregation of 4 Fast Ethernet rings plus 1 Gigabit ring into a single switch.
The new High power PoE switches support various high-end software features, including QoS, 256 VLAN groups, IGMP Snooping, DHCP option 82 etc. for optimizing networks and ensuring high-quality performance, bandwidth aggregation and efficient traffic transmission. In addition to SNMP, JetNet 6710G series incorporate LLDP function and perfectly work with the Korenix patented JetView Pro industrial network management software allowing administrators to automatically discover devices and efficiently manage mission-critical IP-based communication networks in large scale surveillance networks.
