The UL508 approval guarantees that Korenix products have successfully performed stringent flammability, electrical and mechanical safety tests conducted by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc and, therefore are safe and reliable to enter the international market.

The Korenix devices authorized for the UL mark are:
- Korenix Ethernet Switches: JetNet 2005, JetNet 2005f, JetNet 3010G, JetNet 3018G
- Korenix Web-managed Ethernet Switches: JetNet 4010, JetNet 4510, JetNet 4510f
- Korenix Managed Gigabit Switches: JetNet 5010G, JetNet 5018G JetNet 5012G
- Korenix Embedded Router Computers: JetBox 9430-w

Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is an independent product safety certification organization that has been testing products and writing standards for safety for more than a century. UL 508 is the UL Safety standard for Industrial Control Equipment.
