In addition to security concern, video surveillance plays an important role of continual examination of the physical condition and operation of a dam. A dam authority in China installed plenty of IP cameras at the entrances, parking lots, ports, dam crest and the river side. The network exposed to this environment should withstand the rain, humid, and dust. Since cables are not deployable, Korenix JetWave 2610, the wireless outdoor AP is used here.
