Overview

The JetNet 3008f V3 is an 8-port Fast Ethernet switch designed with 6 RJ45 fast Ethernet copper and 2 fast Ethernet fiber ports of multi-mode or single-mode fiber optic cables as well as with enhanced design specifications, including wider operating temperature and power input range to best fit in your long-distance applications for important image transmission on high-end IP cameras. JetNet3008f V3 outstands from other entry-level switches for the following features:

  1. Fiber Optic Interface for Long Distance Transmission
    To avoid interference as well as to extend network coverage, in addition to 6 Fast Ethernet copper ports, JetNet 3008f V3 is equipped with 2 100Mbps fiber uplink ports, supporting multi-mode fiber for 2KM or single-mode for 30KM distances, in order to achieve stable far-end transmission.
  2. High Transmission Quality
    The switch offers 2.0Gbps Switch Fabric with excellent data exchange performance. With quality of service (QoS) and Class of Service (CoS) it ensures the best data forwarding performance. Broadcast storm filtering and flow control functions can further ensure your data traffic delivery to destination without traffic congestion.
  3. Redundant Power Supply
    To operate under harsh environments, JetNet 3008f V3 is designed with redundant wide power input 10~60VDC range with auto polarity reverse function to ensure the switch’s capability of transmitting data under poor DC power sourcing.
  4. Port and Power Relay Alarm
    The independent port and power alarm feature enables the switch to alarm users whenever a power or port failure occurs and helps for instant maintenance.
  5. Rugged Design and Brilliant Electromagnetic Interference Immunity
    The JetNet 3008f V3, compliant with the electromagnetic interference requirements for Heavy Industrial applications, provides a high level of electromagnetic susceptibility exceeding the IEC/EN 61000-6-2 standard. With IP31 rugged aluminum casing the switch can withstand the wide operating temperature -10~70oC under severe conditions. It supports 1.5KV Hi-Pot isolation protection against damage from electrical surge interference.
